2025 Season: Finishes his UConn career with 276 strikeouts, ranked second in program history. Appeared in 69 career games (12th) and made 32 starts. In 229.2 innings (13th), he earned 17 wins (T11th) and collected four saves. Appeared in 20 games and made four starts during the 2025 season. Went 2-5 with a 6.26 ERA and earned three saves. Logged 54.2 innings and struck out 77. Pitched 4.1 innings out of the pen at Northeastern (3/26) and tied a season-high with eight strikeouts. Tossed 3.0 shutout innings at Xavier (3/29) to earn the save. Fired 3.1 scoreless frames with seven strikeouts to notch save vs. Georgetown (4/11). Followed it up with 3.0 inning save against Hoyas (4/13). Earned the win out of the bullpen with 3.2 innings and eight strikeouts vs. Seton Hall (4/17). Threw 4.2 innings and stuck out eight in a victory vs. URI (4/25). Logged a season-high 5.1 innings with zero walks and eight strikeouts vs. Northeastern (5/13).Â
2024 Summer Ball: Pitched for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox in the Cape Cod League…Struck out two in 3.2 innings of work.
2024 Season: BIG EAST Pitcher of the Year. First Team All-BIG EAST. Second Team ABCA All-Northeast. Appeared in 17 games and made 10 starts. Went 5-2 with a 4.54Â ERA. Logged 67.1 innings and ranked third in BIG EAST with 85 strikeouts. Held opponents to a .222 batting average against. Pitched 6.0 shutout innings with just three hits allowed and five strikeouts vs. Louisville (2/16) on Opening Day. Notched first win of the year with 5.0 innings and struck out eight vs. LIU (3/20). Registered 5.1 scoreless innings out of the bullpen with nine strikeouts vs. Xavier (4/5). Struck out a career-high 14 batters in 7.2 shutout innings out of the bullpen to earn victory vs. St. John's (4/12). Struck out 10 in 5.0 innings at Georgetown (4/19). Logged 6.0 innings of one-run ball vs. Villanova (4/28). Grabbed third win of the year with 8.2 innings and nine strikeouts at Seton Hall (5/4). Pitched 7.0 innings of one-run ball with zero walks and struck out 10 in victory at Butler (5/18). Earned win vs. No. 12 Duke (5/31) in the NCAA Norman Regional with 5.2 innings of one-run ball. Made start at No. 8 Florida State (6/7) in NCAA Super Regionals.Â
2023 Season: BIG EAST Preseason Pitcher of the Year. Battled injuries throughout the year. Made 12 starts. Went 3-3 with a 5.74 ERA. Pitched 53.1 innings and struck out 60. Logged a quality start on Opening Night vs. Ohio State (2/17) with 6.0 innings, one walk and eight strikeouts. Struck out a season-high nine batters in 5.0 innings vs. Cal Poly (2/24). Recorded first win of the year at FAU (3/3) with 6.1 innings of work. Pitched a season-high 6.2 innings and struck out six in victory at San Diego State (3/16). Tossed 5.2 innings and gave up three earned vs. Rutgers (3/24). Grabbed a victory against UMBC (3/31) with 6.0 strong innings of work and registered eight strikeouts. Pitched 2.0 shutout innings at Creighton (5/20) with three strikeouts before having to depart with injury.Â
2022 Season: Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American. Appeared in 20 games and made six starts in his first season in Storrs. Went 7-1 with a 3.64 ERA with one save. Logged 54.1 innings and struck out 54 while holding opponents to a .250 AVG. Notched first career win in collegiate debut out of bullpen at USF (2/18) with 2.2 shutout innings with one hit allowed and four strikeouts. Fired 2.0 shutout innings with no hits and two strikeouts in a victory out of the pen against FIU (3/4). Two shutout innings at Pepperdine (3/11) out of the bullpen. First career start at USC (3/15) earned win after twirling 7.2 shutouts innings with just four hits allowed and career-high seven punch outs. Career-high 8.0 shutout innings at Boston College (4/20) allowed just one hit and seven strikeouts. Five shutout innings in victory against Yale (4/27). 3.1 shutout innings against Xavier (5/15).Â
Before UConn: Lettered four seasons for head coach Todd Matthewson at the Canterbury School. Named Top-15 high school player in the state of Connecticut by Collegiate Baseball in 2021. Also played JV football and soccer.
