2020 Season: Played in eight games and started four during abbreviated 2020 season. Caught all four of Nick Krauth's starts (4-0) and threw out three baserunners including a pair against No. 8 Michigan (2/16). Hit .143 with three runs scored and added an RBI. Collected a pair of hits and drove in a run in a win at New Orleans (3/1).Â
2019 Summer: Played in 27 games with the Healdsburg Prune Packers in the California Collegiate League. Hit .233 with three doubles, one triple, one home run and 11 RBIs. Added 15 runs scored, 16 walks and one stolen base.
2019 Season: Played in 13 games and made seven starts in his first season in Storrs. Hit .138 (4-29) with two home runs, four RBIs, three runs scored and six walks (.297 OBP). Recorded a multi-hit effort (2-3) at Texas State (3/10) that included first career home run. Homered against Michigan State (3/15). Drove in a run to help clinch series win at Houston (3/24).
Before UConn: Played at Santa Rosa Junior College for two seasons… Hit .325 with 52 hits, 27 runs, 12 doubles, six home runs, 36 RBIs and .435 on base percentage during sophomore season.
High School: Lettered three seasons for head coach Zane Jensen at Clear Lake High School in Lakeport, Calif…. Two-time All-Empire Small Schools MVP (2014, 2015)… All-NCS Division 5 First Team… All-League NCL-1 MVP & First Team (2014, 2015)… All-County MVP First Team (2014, 2015)… MaxPreps & Cal-Hi Sports All-State Team (2015)… MaxPreps California Small Schools All-State Team (2014)… Led team to 26-1 record his senior year… Lettered two seasons in football… All-Empire First Team (2013, 2014)… All-League First Team (2013, 2014)… All-County First Team (2013, 2014)… National Football Association and College Hall of Fame Scholarship Award Winner (2014), General Semper Fidelis Junior Scholar Athlete Award (2014)… Scholar Athlete in both football and baseball all four years of high school.
