2008 SEASON: Had a team second-best 2.70 ERA with a 3-2 record in 36.2 innings pitched... struck out 34 batters...missed some games early in the season due to an ankle injury... made a team-high 18 appearances on the mound... recorded three saves for the UConn club... recorded a season-high four strikeouts four times... picked up his third save of the season in UConn[apos]s 2-1 win over St. John[apos]s (Apr. 11).
2007 SEASON: Made 15 relief appearances registering 20.2 innings pitched while recording 15 strikeouts... posted a 4.79 ERA and a 1-0 won-loss record for the year... recorded a season-high of three strikeouts on three occasions; against Hartford (Apr. 17), at Cincinnati (Apr. 22), and at Notre Dame (May 17).
2006 SEASON: Redshirted due to injury.
2005 SEASON: Made 24 appearances for the Huskies and registered a 1-1 record ... was sixth in the league and first on the team in appearances ... pitched a 2.29 ERA in 39.1 IP ... fanned 39 batters and recorded two saves ... struck out 5-of-6 batters faced in an 11-4 victory over Centenary (Mar. 19).
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Fairfield Prep in Fairfield, Conn.... lettered three times in baseball ... head coach was Ed Rowe.
