2022 Season: Second Team All-BIG EAST. Second Team All-New England. Made 17 appearances and 16 starts as the Sunday starter for the Huskies in 2022. Closed the year at 6-1 on the mound with a 3.51 ERA. Pitched 84.2 innings, walked 16 and struck out 61. Pitched a gem in his UConn debut, earning the victory vs. Louisville (2/20) with 6.2 shutout innings that featured zero walks and eight strikeouts. Tossed 7.0 shutout innings at FIU (3/6) with zero walks and season-high 10 strikeouts. Did not walk a batter until his fifth start of the season at UC San Diego (3/21) spanning his first 26.2 innings. Earned win vs. URI (3/27) with 5.0 innings of one run ball. Logged seven shutout frames vs. St. John's (4/10) to sweep series in Storrs. Pitched season-high 8.0 innings of work to sweep Seton Hall (4/16) on the road. Pitched 6.0 innings and allowed just one run vs. Villanova (4/24). Earned his sixth win of the year with 5.2 innings and just one earned run at Butler (5/1). Fired 5.2 innings and gave up just a pair of runs at Georgetown (5/21).

Earned Ivy League Pitcher of the Week Honors for the week of 4/31-5/6 ... Pitched in 19 games, tallying five wins, 36 strikeouts, and a 2.82 ERA over 44.2 innings pitched ... Threw a career-high five innings and only gave up one earned run against Seton Hall (3/15) ... Collected a career-best six strikeouts in only 2.1 innings at Brown (5/4) ...
