Huskies Earn Multiple Wins at Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. – The UConn women's tennis team competed at the Dartmouth Invitational this weekend, earning several individual victories across singles and doubles play against Dartmouth and UMass.

Against Dartmouth, Gretchen Wolfe earned a 7-5, 6-2 singles victory. Also in singles , Victoria Matos, Abigail Elham, and Isabella Asenov each battled through competitive matches. Then in doubles action , Isabella Asenov and Caroline Hinshaw earned a 6-2 victory. Alongside Matos and Abigail Elham putting up a strong fight in their double's match up.

The Huskies also faced UMass, with Ela Platenikova, Karolina Lincer and Chloe Lomans earning singles victories. UConn also picked up doubles wins from Lomans and Platenikova, as well as Lincer and Matus.

The Huskies will next compete at the ITA Regionals in New Haven, Conn., from Oct. 9-12.
