Rispoli, Pudvar Named 2026 Cape Cod League All-Stars

HARWICH, Mass. - UConn baseball infielder Rob Rispoli and Oliver Pudvar have both been selected to compete in the 2026 Cape Cod League All-Star Game on Saturday, July 18th at 6 PM at Whitehouse Field home of the Harwich Mariners.
Rispoli and Pudvar are both playing for the Chatham A's this summer. Rispoli leads the Cape with 21 walks this summer in 22 games. The Staten Island, N.Y. native is hitting .254 with four doubles, one triple and 11 runs batted in while adding six stolen bases and 14 runs scored.ย
Pudvar leads the Cape in innings pitched with 24.0 so far this summer. The Shelburne, Vt. native has appeared in six games and made five starts for the A's while going 1-2 with a 4.88 ERA and striking out 22 batters in his 24 innings.ย
The duo are the first UConn Cape All-Stars since Gabe Van Emon in 2024 and it is the first time the Huskies have had multiple All-Star selections in the same year since UConn did it in back-to-back summers with John Toppa and Zac Susi in 2018 and Christian Fedko and Karl Johnson in 2019.
