UConn is coming off their first defeat of the season to nationally ranked Bryant earlier this week, snapping a nine-game unbeaten streak to begin the season. Senior forward Austin Brummett has led UConn's offense this season with six goals, three being game-winning goals which ranks 4^th nationally. The Huskies 19 goals this season ranks second in the conference and 20^thnationally. UConn is averaging 1.90 goals through their first ten games this season.

A Look at Villanova

The Villanova Wildcats are coming off a loss at Penn on Tuesday. Villanova began BIG EAST play with a 1-1 draw against DePaul last week. The Wildcats are coached by Mark Fetrow entering his second season. Villanova was selected to finish in sixth place in the East Division in the BIG EAST Preseason Coaches' Poll. Junior forward Sam Nyenka leads the Wildcats in goals (3) and points (6).
