Huskies NCAA Tourney Bound, Set to Face Wake Forest

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's field hockey team is headed back to the NCAA Tournament for their second consecutive season. The Huskies will travel north to Host site Harvard where they will face off against ACC opponent Wake Forest.

UConn finished the season with a 11-8 overall record and a 6-1 record in BIG EAST action. The Huskies finished the season as runners up in the BIG EAST Tournament after falling to no.1 seed Liberty in overtime earlier this afternoon. The Huskies finished the season 10 in NCAA RPI.

Wake Forest finished their season posting a 15-4 overall record and a 7-1 record in ACC action. Wake Forest finished their season 10-0 at home and 5-2 on the road. The Demon Deacons season ended with a quarterfinal loss to Syracuse.
