Huskies Put up Strong Results at Harvard ITA Regionals

STORRS, Conn. - The Huskies wrapped up the weekend at Harvard for the New England ITA Regionals. The Huskies had strong performances in their single and doubles matchups.
At last week's New England Regional Championships hosted by Harvard, Chloe Lomans won the opening singles match, taking down Madara Markevica of UMass in straight sets (6-2, 6-2).
The doubles team of Ela Platenikova and Victoria Matos won their matchup over Dartmouth (8-4). Lomans and Madison McLeod also won their doubles match against Fairfield by a score of 8-3. Platenikova took care of business in her singles match, defeating Syracuse's Monika Wojcik in straight sets (6-4, 6-0).
