No. 2 Huskies to Host Holy Cross Tuesday

STORRS, Conn. – The second-ranked UConn women's basketball team (6-0) faces Holy Cross (4-3) on Tuesday in Gampel Pavilion at 7 p.m. The game will air on SNY and the UConn Sports Network from Learfield (FOX Sports 97-9).
UConn SAAC, the Marines and Toys for Tots will collect new, unwrapped toys for donation at Tuesday's game. Collection points will be at every Gampel entrance from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Redshirt senior Paige Bueckers scored 29 points to lead UConn past No. 18 Ole Miss, 73-60, to win the Baha Mar Women's Championship in the Bahamas last Wednesday. In her third game of the season, graduate student Azzi Fudd notched 18 points, including 12 in the second half. She was named to the all-tournament team.
The Huskies finished November with a 6-0 record, including two wins over top 20 opponents. UConn currently ranks second nationally in assist-turnover ratio (1.87), sixth in assists per game (21.5) and third in field goal percentage (51.3).
UConn is 20-2 all-time vs. Holy Cross, including 19-1 under head coach Geno Auriemma.
Holy Cross beat New Hampshire, 57-43, last Tuesday. This season, Simone Foreman leads the Crusaders with 14.0 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Interim head coach Candice Green is in her second season on staff at Holy Cross.
