Huskies Set to Face Quinnipiac Wednesday

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's tennis team is set to face Quinnipiac at their home indoor courts at Magic Lincer Tennis Academy in Manchester, CT on Wednesday.
Entering the matchup, UConn now stands at 6-2 overall and 1-0 in the Big East Conference in the 2023 season. Last week, the Huskies won 2-0 winning 5-2 in both matches against URI and Providence.
UConn showed strong play in singles play last time out against the Providence Friars as five of the six singles players would come away with victories to secure the win. Maria Constantinou clinched it for UConn in a tough third-set battle. Caroline Cook added the exclamation point on the day with also a third set match winning the second and third set at 6-1, 6-1.
Scouting the Bobcats
Heading into the matchup, Quinnipiac is 4-4 in the 2023 season. The Bobcats lost 4-3 against Army last Saturday. Last time out, Claire Koscielski and Nikole Lisovyy both won in three sets at second and six singles.
First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST on Wednesday.
