UConn kicks off home slate against Army

Storrs, CT – UConn welcomes Army for their Home Opener today at 3:00pm.
The Huskies (14-11) are coming off a series win at Georgetown this past weekend which put them in first place in the BIG EAST standings. UConn as a team held a .284 batting average, scoring 21 runs on 31 hits. The Huskies lead the BIG EAST in stolen bases on the year with 54, 11 of them coming just last week alone.
Army (8-18) is coming off a win over Monmouth this past weekend. This will be UConn's first midweek test of the 2022 campaign.
