UConn Drops Game to No. 14 Duke

DURHAM, N.C. – UConn softball dropped a 7-0 game to No. 14 Duke Sunday afternoon at the Duke Softball Stadium.
Freshman Taylor Zatyk registered the Huskies lone hit of the day, hitting a single up the middle in the top of the fifth. Meghan O'Neil and Payton Kinney split time in the circle for the Huskies. Kinney earned the start and picked up a pair of strikeouts through two and a third innings of work, while O'Neil logged two and two-thirds innings of action.
Duke scored one in the second, five in the third, and one in the fourth to take a 7-0 lead into the seventh.
