UConn Concludes Regular Season At ECU

STORRS, Conn. – Wrapping up the 2018-19 regular season on the road, UConn men's basketball team travels to Greenville, N.C. for a conference tilt against East Carolina on Sunday afternoon at Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum. The game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. tipoff and will be televised by ESPNU.

Opponent and Series History…
- UConn leads the all-time series by 10-2. Most recently, the Huskies posted a 76-52 victory over the Pirates back on Feb. 3 at the XL Center.
- ECU (10-19, 3-14) is coming off a 72-55 loss at Wichita State on Tuesday.
- The Pirates are led in scoring (16.5) and rebounding (8.5) by freshman Jayden Gardner, with sophomore Shawn Williams also scoring in double figures (12.5). Senior Isaac Fleming leads in assists (3.7).

Coach Dan Hurley enters his first season at the helm after he became the 19th head coach in the history of UConn men's basketball on March 22, 2018. Prior to his hiring, Hurley spent two seasons at Wagner College and six at the University of Rhode Island, and owns a collegiate coaching record of 153- 105 (.593). He is coming off two consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and last season was named the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year.

UConn moves into postseason play in the American Athletic Conference Championship at FedExForum in Memphis, Tenn. The Huskies will either be the #9 or #10 seed and will play on Thursday, March 14, and will either play at 1 p.m. (as #9) or at 8 p.m. (as #10) on ESPNU against an opponent to be determined.
