Huskies Continue Hockey East Action with Home Series against UNH

STORRS, Conn. – After sweeping last weekend's home-and-home series with Holy Cross and extending its win streak to four games, the UConn women's hockey team returns to the ice for a home series against Hockey East foe New Hampshire Jan. 11-12. Friday's match is set for a 6 p.m. puck drop, with Saturday's tilt primed for a 3 p.m. start time.

Opponent and Series History…
- UConn trails New Hampshire in the all-time series between the two schools, 10-38-5.
- The two schools met earlier this season back on Oct. 12, with UNH earning a 5-3 victory of UConn.
- UNH enters the series with an 8-9-4 overall record and a 5-8-1 mark in WHEA competition. The Wildcats battled Yale on Tuesday night, earning a 4-3 road victory over the Bulldogs.

Chris Mackenzie enters his sixth season as the coach of the Huskies. Mackenzie has been an instrumental part in turning the program around and in 2015-16, Mackenzie coached UConn to their first winning season since 2010.
