UConn to Host Lafayette College on Wednesday Night

HARTFORD, Conn. – Wrapping up its five-game homestand and looking to bounce back from Sunday's defeat, the UConn men's basketball team will welcome Lafayette College for a midweek match up on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at the XL Center in Hartford, Conn. Wednesday's tilt with the Leopards is slated for 6 p.m. on ESPNU.

- UConn leads the all-time series against Lafayette, 3-0. The squads will meet on the hardwood for the first time since Nov. 25, 1994 – a 110-48 UConn victory.
- The Leopards (2-5) enter Wednesday night's contest following a two point loss to Sacred Heart, and have lost four of their last five games.

Leading the Pack…
Coach Dan Hurley enters his first season at the helm after he became the 19th head coach in the history of UConn men's basketball on March 22, 2018. Prior to his hiring, Hurley spent two seasons at Wagner College and six at the University of Rhode Island, and owns a collegiate coaching record of 153- 105 (.593). He is coming off two consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and last season was named the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year.
