UConn Continues Homestand with UMass Lowell

STORRS, Conn. – UConn men's basketball continues its five-game homestand, as it plays host to UMass Lowell Tuesday night at Gampel Pavilion. Slated for a 7 p.m. tip-off, the game will be broadcast on SNY.

- This will be just the second all-time meeting between the Huskies and the River Hawks. UConn won the first matchup, an 88-79 decision back on Dec. 20, 2015.
- UMass Lowell enters Tuesday night's contest following a 12-point setback to Duquesne. Prior to the loss, the River Hawks had won three-straight games after starting the season 2-2.
- Four players for the River Hawks are registering double-figure scoring averages, led by Obadiah Noel with 15.6 points per game – Alex Rivera (14.6), Christian Lutete (13.4) and Josh Gantz (13.3) round out the quartet. Lutete also leads the team in rebounding, pulling down 9.0 boards per game.

Leading the Pack…
Coach Dan Hurley enters his first season at the helm after he became the 19th head coach in the history of UConn men's basketball on March 22, 2018. Prior to his hiring, Hurley spent two seasons at Wagner College and six at the University of Rhode Island, and owns a collegiate coaching record of 153- 105 (.593). He is coming off two consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and last season was named the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year.
