STORRS, Conn. - Fresh off the 13th annual Nutmeg Classic, the University of Connecticut women's ice hockey team will return to the Mark Edward Freitas Ice Forum on Friday, Dec. 2 when they host RV/RV Boston University before traveling to Boston for part two of the home-and-home series.
There will be a post-game skate at the conclusion of Friday's game where fans will get a chance to skate with the Huskies.
UConn is 8-5-3 overall and 3-2-1 in hockey east competition going into Friday's match-up with the Terriers. The Huskies went 0-1-1 last weekend at the Nutmeg Classic after they tied Yale 1-1 but then fell short in a shootout and then dropped a 3-2 decision to No. 8/9 Quinnipiac in the consolation game.

3. Briana Colangelo - 14 points (4g, 10a)
Junior goaltender Annie Belanger (Sherbrooke, Quebec) finished with a combined 80 saves over the last two games, recording 38 against Yale and 42 against Quinnipiac. She was the runner-up for Goaltender of the Month for the month of November after racking up 180 saves in six games.
Junior Justine Fredette (Winnipeg, Manitoba) notched the game-tying goal against Merrimack with 11 seconds on the clock in the third period. Classmate Leah Lum (Richmond, B.C.) took credit for both goals against ranked Quinnipiac.

Boston University is riding a five-game win streak after claiming back-to-back wins over Princeton. After downing the Tigers 4-1 in game-one of the series, the Terriers squeaked out a 4-3 comeback win in overtime of game two.

The Terriers trailed the Tigers 3-2 in the third, but Abby Cook scored to tie it up and send the game into OT. With 37 seconds remaining in extra minutes, Mary Parker netted the game-winning goal to keep the win streak alive for BU.

The Huskies will close out the home-and-home series with the Terriers on Saturday, Dec. 3 at Walter Brown Arena in Boston. Puck drop is slated for 3 p.m.
