PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Coming off back-to-back WHEA victories, the UConn women's ice hockey team will travel to face non-conference Brown on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. in the team's first mid-week match-up of the year.
The Huskies are now an even 2-2 in Hockey East play after claiming wins over Merrimack and New Hampshire this past weekend. UConn registered a season-high seven goals on Saturday to defeat the Warriors 7-1 at Lawler Rink.

3. Briana Colangelo - 9 points (2g, 7a)
Junior Lindsay Roethke (Buffalo, Minn.) scored her first career goal, the overtime game-winner, against UNH Sunday to give UConn the win 2-1 with 35 seconds left in overtime. Junior goaltender Annie Belanger (Sherbrooke, Quebec) racked up 52 saves over two games and only allowed one goal in each contest.

Brown went 1-1 last week against ECAC opponents, Union and Rensselaer, both at home. After defeating the Dutchwomen 3-1 Friday, the Bears fell short of the Engineers 4-1 Saturday with four of the five total goals coming in the first period.

The Bears' other two conference losses came against two nationally ranked opponents after they were shutout 4-0 by No. 10/10 Princeton and 8-0 by No. 8/5 Quinnipiac.
