Post-Game Notes
- With Sunday's win, UConn improved to 14-2 overall and 7-0 at home all-time against USF. The Huskies have defeated the Bulls six times at the XL Center.
- Senior guard Ryan Boatright scored a career-high 28 points in the win after tallying 19 second-half points. Sunday's game marked the seventh time the Connecticut guard has reached at least 20 points this season.
- Boatright connected on four 3-pointers for the second straight game for the Huskies. His 31 3-pointers this year lead all UConn players, and he is second on the team in 3-point field goal percentage (39.2).
- The Huskies improved to 4-1 at the XL Center this season with the win. UConn sports a +13.8 scoring margin at the venue on the year.
- USF's 20 first-half points marked a season-low for a Connecticut opponent this season. The previous low was 21 by College of Charleston on Nov. 20, 2014.
- The Husky bench finished the game with a 23-7 advantage in bench points. Guard Rodney Purvis led the charge with 17 points as he reached double-figures for the seventh time this season.
- Connecticut's 22 made free throws and 29 free throws attempts both rank as the second-highest total in a game for the Huskies this year. Purvis made a career-best eight free throws on a career-high 12 attempts.
- UConn finished the game with a 35-18 advantage on the boards. The Bulls' 18 rebounds were a season-low for a Connecticut opponent, and the Huskies' +17 rebound margin was a season-best.
- The Huskies finished 8-17 from the 3-point line. UConn has gone 29-57 (.509) from the 3-point line in its last three games.
