Elise Fugowski Named To BIG EAST All-Tournament Team

Storrs, Conn. - It was announced today by the BIG EAST Conference that senior midfielder Elise Fugowski (Stockholm, N.J.) was selected to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team. Fugowski was also selected to the All-BIG EAST First Team on Thursday at the Conference postseason banquet.

The Huskies fell in the BIG EAST Semifinals, 2-0, to eventual champions West Virginia on Friday night. With the loss, UConn heads into the NCAA Tournament with a 10-9-3 record.

Connecticut will wait for the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee to decide its fate for the upcoming NCAA Tournament this coming weekend. The NCAA Selection Show will be aired on ESPN U on Monday, November 8 at 4:30 p.m.
