Huskies to Compete at 2010 BIG EAST/Big Ten Challenge

The UConn baseball team will play in the BIG EAST/Big Ten Baseball Challenge for the second consecutive season in 2010 as the match-ups for the event have been announced by API Sports.
The Huskies will face three Big Ten opponents at the BIG EAST/Big Ten Baseball Challenge, hosted by the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Sports Commission. Doubleheaders at Dunedin Stadium and Bright House Field highlight the schedule, while other games will be played at current and former major league facilities in the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area. This past season, eight BIG EAST teams and all 10 Big Ten programs participated.
