NEW BRITAIN, CT (April 15) -- The Huskies managed 12 hits on Thursday afternoon but could not keep up with Central Connecticut as the University of Connecticut baseball team fell 10-4 to the Blue Devils at Balf Savin Field in New Britain, Conn. With the victory, CCSU improves to 20-9 on the season while the Huskies slip to 17-14.
Mike Leonard (Vernon, CT) went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Jeff Hourigan (Beacon Falls, CT) went 2-for-4 and scored a run. Brian Maloney (Hampton, NH) had a 2-for-3 afternoon and drove in two runs for the Huskies.
