Burnham to Play at Fenway Park

MEDFORD, MA (May 27) - University of Connecticut senior infielder Brett Burnham has been selected to play in the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Coaches Association 29th annual All-Star Game at Fenway Park on Thursday, May 29 at 12:00 noon.
The game features the University Division (Division I) against the College Division (Division II and III). The University Division holds a commanding 19-7-1 lead in the series, which includes a 14-game winning streak from 1985-98. The University team also won last season 7-5.
Burnham this season played in all 47 games at either second base or shortstop and hit .317. He led the team in home runs with seven, RBI with 47 and stolen bases with 12. Burnham was also second on the team in hits, slugging percentage and on-base percentage.
