STORRS, CT (Nov. 28) - With five goals in the second period alone, Bemidji State avenged their loss this past Tuesday with a 7-2 victory over the University of Connecticut men’s hockey team at the UConn Ice Arena. In the first game of the series on Nov. 25, the Huskies came out with a 4-3 win.

Wade Chiodo continued Bemidji’s scoring barrage with just 2:08 elapsed in the third period, tallying his first short-handed goal of the season and sixth total goal. The Huskies finally came up with an answer when Cole Koidahl (Minneapolis, MN) slipped a shot in past the right side of Bemidji goaltender Morgan.
