Foley Named to Verizon Academic All-America Team

STORRS, CT (Nov. 25) – Kate Foley (Tolland, CT) of the University of Connecticut women’s soccer team, has been named to the Verizon Academic All-America Team. Foley, a member of the District I First Team in the University Division is one of three defenders to be awarded the honor.
Foley maintains a 3.979 GPA, majoring in Pharmacy and has helped the Huskies to a 21-2-1 record this season, their first ever BIG EAST Championship Title and an impressive run in the NCAA Women’s College Cup.
The Huskies will play host to Penn State in the Quarterfinal Round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, November 30 at 1 p.m. at Morrone Stadium.
