Indoor: Competed at five meets in 3000, Mile, and 5000...Tallied five top-20 finishes...Bests: 3000 - 10:00.42 at conference indoor championships, Mile - 5:08.49 at Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge, and 5000 - 17:11.53 at IC4A/ECAC indoor championships,

Outdoor: Competed at three meets in the 5000...Took first at UConn Northeast Challenge with a time of 17:45.96...Best 5000 time at 125th Penn Relays at 17:06.30...Finished seventh overall at conference outdoor championships at 17:10.10.

High School: Earned nine varsity letters in cross country, and indoor/outdoor track and field,,, All-FCIAC and All-State cross country, indoor, and outdoor during senior year... State champion and runner up at the New England championships in the 3200 senior year... Team MVP for cross country and indoor track during senior year... Holds school record for the 3200 for indoor and outdoor track... Member of National Honor Society and an honor roll student.

Personal: Sarah Elizabeth Leatherwood is the daughter of Peter and Kelly Leatherwood and had two sisters Anna and Maggie... A Biology major.
