Went for 11 kills and 11 digs at Georgetown (Oct. 9) ... Registered 12 kills and 12 digs vs. Providence (Oct. 14) ... Tallied 13 kills and 16 digs vs. Creighton (Oct. 16) ... Ripped 19 kills at Xavier (Oct. 30) ... Recorded 14 kills and 13 digs at Butler (Oct. 31) ... Matched a season high with 19 kills vs. Xavier (Nov. 19).
AS A SOPHOMORE (SPRING 2021): Competed in nine matches (33 sets) ... averaged 1.97 kills and 2.03 digs per set ... notched nine kills and seven digs at Creighton (4/2) ... tallied 11 kills on a .391 clip and added seven digs and two blocks vs. Seton Hall (3/27) ... had 10 kills and six digs vs. Seton Hall (3/26) ... notched 13 kills and 12 digs at Providence (3/13) ... posted 13 digs at Villanova (3/5) ... had 10 kills at Temple (1/30).
AS A FRESHMAN (2019): Saw action in 85 sets, 25 matches...Posted five double-doubles on the year…Tallied a season best kills (22) and points (22) in win over Houston…Posted season high in digs (19) against UCF…Finished season with 203 kills, 15 service aces, 220 digs, 30 blocks, and 235.5 points.
Before UConn: Three-year letter in volleyball and basketball. She was named MVP of the junior varsity team her freshman year. The next year she was selected as Rookie of the Year on the varsity volleyball team, named sophomore MVP of the year, in addition to helping her team to bronze and gold finishes at the Junior Nationals (17 Rockstar Long Beach Mizuno | 18's Long Beach Mizuno). Her junior year she made the All-Tournament Team at the Durango Valley tourney, named most inspirational on the varsity team, two-time Dally Breeze Player of the Week, Social Prep Legends Girl's Athlete of the Week, All-Tournament Team at Power Classic , Bay League Champions, and Junior Girls MVP. To conclude her high school career, she was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Durango tourney, Co-MVP of the varsity team, two-time Dally Breeze Player of the Week, MVP of Power Classic, named to the CIF Social Prep Insider Watchlist, and 2018 High Honorable Mention All-American List from Prep Volleyball. The Dally Breeze and the Easy Reader in Redondo Beach featured her.
On the basketball court, she is a two-time Bay League Champion as well as a two-time MVP at Bay League. The All-CIF First Team selection was Co-Champs at Bay League, and Second Team All-CIF. She also helped lead her team to win CIF Division 2, CIF-Regional Division 2, and CIF-State Division 2 Championships.
Academically, she was a scholar athlete and on the honor roll for all four years. Â Â
Personal: She is the daughter of Peter and Tamala Davis…has one brother, Peter II.
