AS A SENIOR (2018): Played in 31 matches...Tied for No.10 in school history for digs in a single season at 533...Named AAC Defensive Player of the Week on Nov. 19th...AAC Weekly Honor Roll member for the week of Nov. 1st...All-Tournament team for the 2018 UConn Challenge...Posted a season-high in digs on Nov. 21st vs. Temple at 28...Concludes her tenure as a Husky with 386 sets played, 107 matches played, 261 assists, 30 service aces, and 1,135 digs.
AS A JUNIOR (2017): Played in all 32 matches … second on the team with 294 digs and 59 assists … recorded a career-best 12 service aces … picked up two kills … posted a season-best 37 digs and eight assists against Temple (Nov. 24) ... notched 11 double-digit digs performances, which included five consecutive matched spanning from Nov. 5- Nov. 19.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Played in all 31 matches…Recorded 12 double-digit digs performances throughout the season, with three season-high 15-dig matches against St. John’s, Houston and SMU…Her 80 assists were third-most on the team…2.07 digs per set were fifth-most on the team…From Oct. 30 to Nov. 11, she had four consecutive matches with double-digit digs, leading UConn’s defensive efforts.
AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Appeared in 16 matches the for Huskies…Tallied 14 assists, including a career-high four in the season finale against ECU on Nov. 25…Recorded two service aces…Came up with 82 digs, averaging 1.67 per set.
Before UConn:Â A four-year letter winner at Shaler Area High School and a member of the Renaissance Volleyball Club, Kline served as team captain for three seasons. She earned First Team All-Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League Honors in both her junior and senior seasons and was tabbed as team MVP on three occasions. A four-year First Team All-Section member, Kline led her squad in digs during each of her four seasons at Shaler, helping the team win a Section Championship during her final two campaigns. Kline also earned letters in high school for basketball and track.Â
Personal:Â The daughter of Alex and Ellen Kline, she has one brother, Alex Jr., and two sisters, Chelsea and Tori...Exploratory major.
