Bio
Before UConn: Attended Kungsholmen's Gymnasium in Stockholm, Sweden...During her junior career in Sweden, she won nine titles in established singles play national tournaments and four titles in doubles play in national tournament play...Playing as the No. 1 ranked singles player for her club, posted a 24-10 record in team matches as well as earning victories over WTA ranked players...Earned a pair of bronze medals in doubles play at the 2015 and 2016 Swedish National Championship and advanced to the quarterfinals of singles play at the 2016 national tournament...In 2014, she made the final of the Stockholm Junior Tour, one of the biggest tournaments in Stockholm...In 2013, she was awarded the “Encouragement Prize” and the Margit and Rune Lundström Junior Scholarship Fund by Lidingö Tennis Club...Also played soccer in high school...In the classroom, won the “Peace Prize” in the school’s intern Nobel Prize Award Ceremony as well as awards for music, religion and written text...She was chosen for a scholarship to study women’s rights among the Mayan people in Guatemala in February 2016.
