While at UConn: Joined the UConn program as a graduate student with one season of eligibility remaining after playing three years and earning a degree in Criminal Justice from George Washington University... Appeared in all 40 games for the Huskies, starting 17, averaging 6.1 points and 2.7 rebounds... Recorded a team-high four steals in UConn[apos]s NCAA Tournament Third Round win against Villanova (March 22)... Averaged 3.7 points and 1.3 rebounds in the NCAA Tournament... His six rebounds in the title game against Kentucky (April 7) were tied for the team-high... Scored four points and made both his free throws against the Wildcats... Tied a career-high with seven assists against South Florida (Feb. 12)... Averaged 7.5 points and 3.6 rebounds during conference play... Scored in double-figures seven times... Had a season-best 17 points against Central Florida (Feb. 9).
Before UConn: Played 92 games, starting 71, at George Washington in a three-year career during which he scored 1,013 points, grabbed 373 rebounds, was a three-point threat, handed out 194 assists and had 149 steals, averaging 26.2 minutes per game... Had career-highs of 25 points, 14 rebounds, 7 assists, and 9 steals... Played for current UConn assistant coach Karl Hobbs as a freshman and sophomore at GWU... Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team selection as a freshman.
As a Senior at GWU in 2012-13: Appeared in all 30 games, starting 11, and finished second in scoring at 10.1 ppg, scoring in double figures 19 times... Set career-best fg percentage (.476), while raking third on team with 56 assists and 35 steals, fourth in rebounds with 110... Became 44th GW player to reach 1,000 career points vs. Dayton (March 9)... Had season-high of 19 points, 15 in the first half, against Duquesne (Feb. 6).
As a Junior at GWU in 2011-12: Appeared in 31 games, starting 29, averaging 11.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.7 steals per game... Led GW in steals (52) and was second on team in scoring, assists, rebounds, and blocks... Registered two double-doubles... Scored in double figures in 21 games... Named GWsports.com Colonial of the Week for Jan. 23... Matched career-high of 25 points vs. Richmond (Jan. 18)... Set GW school record with nine steals vs. UAB (Dec. 28)... Member of GW[apos]s Fall 2011 Athletic Academic Dean[apos]s List.
As a Sophomore at GWU in 2010-11: Sat out entire season after suffering Lisfranc sprain of left foot during preseason scrimmage against N.C. State (Oct. 30).
As a Freshman at GWU in 2009-10: Started all 31 games, averaging 11.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 2.0 steals per game... Team leader in three-pointers made (48) and steals (62)... Scored in double figures in 16 games... Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team selection... Three-time selection as A-10 Rookie of the Week.
Before College: Averaged 21 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals per game as a senior under coach Brendan O[apos]Connell at Eleanor Roosevelt High in Greenbelt. Named First Team All-County by the Prince George[apos]s Gazette and All-Met Fourth Team by the Washington Post.
