Samantha Buccheri joined the UConn men’s basketball program in December 2023 as the administrative assistant. In her role with the Huskies, Buccheri handles the program’s office space in the Werth Champions Center, plays a role in scheduling for the student-athletes and coaches, and assists in travel and operations. She also has a hand in alumni relations, family needs and a variety of other tasks.
A UConn graduate, Buccheri returns to Storrs after spending six years at Tallan, an IT services and consulting firm based in Hartford, as both a marketing manager and event manager. In her roles at Tallan she developed a marketing strategy, worked with partners and played a role in social media strategy and development. She also executed events for Tallan, hosting over two events per month.
Prior to her time at Tallan, Buccheri spent four years at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. There she assisted in event management, fundraising and content creation.
Buccheri graduated from Connecticut in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and English.
