2023 (R-Freshman Season): Saw action in six games as a r-freshman...Caught three passes for 35 yards and a touchdown...Had a catch in games against Duke (Sept 23), James Madison (Nov 11) and Sacred Heart (Nov 18)...Caught his first career touchdown in the home win over the Pioneers.

2022 (Freshman Season): Redshirt season...Played in four games.

High School: Finished his high school career playing for head coach Patrick Nixon at Mergenthaler Tech High School in Baltimore Maryland. During his senior campaign played both defensive back and wide receiver helping lead Mergenthaler to a 13-1 overall record and a state championship. In the championship game Hicks led the way on defense with 10 tackles and four interceptions … Selected as a team captain during his senior year.
