Named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season after leading UConn[apos]s defense to the top ranking in the BIG EAST and eighth nationally while allowing a scant 1.16 goals per game and notching eight shutouts...is the first player in UConn history to win the award in back-to-back seasons....was also recognized with NFHCA Second Team All-America status...earned third consecutive All-BIG EAST First Team honor...also selected to 2007 BIG EAST All-Tournament Team... tallied five goals and four assists while starting all 25 games...three of her five goals scored on the season were game winners...registered game-winning goal in 2007 NCAA quarterfinal win over Boston University (11/11)...ripped decisive goal in 2-1 win at Rutgers (10/13)...scored lone goal in 1-0 win over Yale (9/5)...named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week for the third time in her career following season-opening wins against Maine (8/25) and Towson (8/26). 2006
