2016: American Athletic Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year...First Team All-Conference...First Team All-New England...Most Outstanding Defensive Player in American Championship leading the Huskies defense to two shutouts en route to tournament title...Started all 23 matches and was third on the team in minutes played (2028)...Aided the UConn defense to 11 shutouts and 0.86 goals against average...Contributed one goal and an assist...Scored the game-winning goal against UCF (Oct. 13) in the 45th minute...Chipped in an assist on Stephanie Ribiero's tally in the 54th minute versus CCSU (Sept. 4)...Earned American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 10) after helping UConn post two shutouts in 200 minutes of action at SMU (Oct. 6) and at Houston (Oct. 9).
2015: Played in 22 games and earned 21 starts for 1779 minutes...crucial contributor in UConn’s 10 shutouts, 0.90 goals against average and undefeated, 10-0, season at home…assisted Annie Wickett’s first career goal in the first round of the NCAA tournament where UConn defeated Siena 5-0 (Nov. 15)…tallied her first career point in the American Athletic Conference quarterfinals against East Carolina when she assisted Rachel Hill’s second goal (Nov. 3).
2014: Saw action in 19 matches, making nine starts at center back...started the final nine games of the season which included six shutouts...integral part of UConn's 11 shutouts, most in a season since 2006, and 0.87 team GAA.
Before UConn: Played two seasons with the Georgia Bulldogs... Made a pair of starts and played in 18 games her freshman season.... named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll and earned SEC First Year Academic Honor Roll as a freshman... earned a spot on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in both years, as well as the Dean's List in her sophomore year... she was a four-year varsity letter winner in high school at Yorktwon Heights... a 2011 all-league, all-conference and all-selection choice in high school... named to the ESPN Top 150... plays with the Jamaica U-20 National Team, most recently at the 2014 CONCACAF Championship in January.
Personal: Toriana is the daughter of Chris and Raquel Patterson ... twin brother, Trey, plays soccer at UMass-Amherst and older sister, Talisa, played at Boston University...a mathematics/actuarial science major.
