2015-16: Appeared in 30 games…fired six shots and finished with a total of 30 blocks…was +2 on two occasions at Boston University (Dec. 6) and against Providence (Jan. 17).
2014-15: Skated in 30 contests...recorded a pair of assists and 21 blocked shots...dished out a helper and was a +1 in a win at Union (Oct. 10)...assisted on the lone goal at No. 1 Boston College (Nov. 21)...was a +1 in three-straight contests from Nov. 29-Jan. 11.
2013-14: Played in 29 games during her freshman campaign...picked up her first career point with an assist at Vermont (Jan. 11)...posted a -3 rating, best among all defensemen...named a Hockey East Academic All-Star following the season.
Before UConn: Played prep hockey at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Conn. for three years...was an assistant captain her senior season...led team to the semifinals of the New England championships...played club hockey for the Lady Ducks and Connecticut Polar Bears, earning five medals in seven years...also played lacrosse at Choate, captaining the team as a senior...was on the Dean's List for five terms at Choate.
Personal: Alexandra Marie Lersch... born May 6, 1994...daughter of Jeffrey and Lori...has two siblings, brother Jeffrey and sister Jessica...plans to enter the business school at UConn and minor in political science.
