WSOC Selected Second, Mars Preseason All-BIG EAST

STORRS, Conn. - The BIG EAST Conference announced its 2026 preseason awards and poll on Monday afternoon.
The Huskies have been voted the runner up in the BIG EAST Conference with 89 votes including two first place votes. UConn finished 2025 with 11-4-3 mark overall and went 7-1-2 in the BIG EAST Conference to take home a third place finish. UConn has now produced three-straight double digit win seasons.
Mars put together a Third Team All-BIG EAST season a year ago. The redshirt sophomore led the team with four assists and added three goals during her first campaign on the field for the Huskies.
