Football Announces Home Game Times for 2026

STORRS, CT - UConn and CBS Sports have announced the game times for six UConn football home games at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field, all of which will be televised on CBS Sports Network.Â
In addition, UConn announced the season opener against Lafayette will be a 12:00 noon kick-off and carried on WFSB Channel 3 throughout Connecticut.
The 2026 campaign marks the sixth season of UConn football on CBS Sports Network. This year's lineup on CBSSN gets underway on Saturday, September 12 with a 3:30 pm match-up against the Maryland Terrapins to kick-off this year's broadcast package.
The October 3 match-up with the Syracuse Orange will be a 12:00 noon kick-off. UConn's game against the UMass Minutemen will move to a Friday night showdown on October 23 at 7 pm.
Three-straight home games in November will serve as the back end to this year's CBSSN slate. The North Carolina Tarheels are in town on Saturday, November 7 for a 12:00 noon kick-off. The James Madison Dukes visit The Rent on Saturday, November 14, also a 12:00 noon start. The 2026 home slate concludes on Saturday, November 21 against Old Dominion at 3:30 pm.
New season tickets are available for the seven-game home schedule, starting as low as $130. The seven-game home schedule is highlighted by games against ACC opponents North Carolina and Syracuse as well as Maryland from the Big Ten.

In addition to the announcement of the seven home game start times, the game time and TV home for UConn's road games at Southern Miss and Air Force was also announced. The Huskies will travel to the Hattiesburg, MS to take on the Golden Eagles in a 7:00 pm kick-off and head to Air Force to take on the Falcons on Saturday, October 31 at 2:00 pm EST.
