Schedule and Seeding Set for 2026 BIG EAST Tennis Championships

CAYCE, S.C. – The 2026 BIG EAST Tennis Championships Presented by JEEP returns to the Cayce Tennis & Fitness Center in Cayce, S.C., April 16-19, with Monday, April 20, serving as a potential rain date if necessary.

Both reigning champions, the Xavier women and St. John's men, earned the tournament's top seeds.

Seeds for the championships were determined by a committee that reviewed each team's regular-season schedule, ITA rankings, results against BIG EAST and common non-conference opponents and wins/losses against ranked foes.

Last season, the Xavier women won their fifth straight, and sixth overall, tournament title with a 4-0 win over Villanova. On the men's side, St. John's claimed its eighth overall conference crown with a 4-0 victory over Creighton.

Competition begins each day at 9 a.m., with a trio of first round matches on the women's side scheduled for Thursday morning. Fans can follow live results for all matches, by clicking HERE for the women.

The Women's Championship matches will be streamed live on ESPN+. The live broadcast of the Women's Championship match kicks off at 1 p.m.
