STORRS, Conn. - Following their 1-1 weekend against Bryant and Cornell, sophomore Chloe Lomans has been named BIG EAST Singles Player of the Week while Ela Platenikova and Chloe Lomans have been named Doubles Pairing of the Week.

Chloe Lomans went undefeated over the weekend in no.2 singles. Lomans started the week with a dominating 6-3, 6-4 win over Bryant followed by a 6-1, 6-3 win in no.2 singles over Cornell.

The pairing of Lomans and Platenikova dominated in no. 1 doubles. The pairing started the weekend strong with a 6-4 win over Bryant followed by a 6-2 win over Cornell.

The Huskies will return to action March 19 as they travel to take on Elon.
