» The Huskies are back in action for their final home game of the 2025-26 regular season.
The Huskies have two games remaining, Thursday vs. New Hampshire and Saturday vs.
Providence.
» The Huskies are coming off an 0-1-1 weekend vs. UMass. Over the weekend the Hus-
kies put up 91 total shots.
» This will be the third matchup this season between the Huskies and Wildcats. The sea-
son series currently is 1-1 with both teams having won on the road.
» Race for seeding: All eyes will be on the final weekend of the regular season as mul-
tiple teams can rise or fall in the standings. Boston College, UConn and
UMass all can finish as high as second place.
» Bubble watch: The Huskies currently sit at 15 in the NPI with two games remaining
before the Hockey East Tournament.
» Hockey Humanitarian Finalist: Senior Ryan Tattle has been named a finalist for the
Hockey Humanitarian Award. Tattle is one of five finalists named by the Hockey Hu-
manitarian Committee. This past winter break, Tattle hosted his 5th annual Score for
Cancer game. Following the completion of the game Sat. Dec. 20, Tattle has raised over
$180,000 for Cancer Research.
» Mike Richter Watchlist and Hobey Baker Candidate: Senior Goaltender Tyler Muszelik
has been named to the Mike Richter Award Watchlist and a Hobey Baker Nominee.
Muszelik is posting a 16-8-5 record with a .928 save % and 2.21 GAA.
» OLYMPIC GOLD: UConn men's hockey alum Tage Thompson won a gold medal with
Team USA in the winter Olympics this past week. Thompson is the first alum to repre-
sent the Huskies in the Olympics for men's hockey.
» Huskies in the NHL: Marc Gatcomb has become the 9th Husky to reach the pros, hav-
ing most recently been called up by the New York Islanders. Gatcomb joins, Chase
Bradley, Ruslan Iskhakov, Yan Kuznetsov, Todd Krygier, Cole Schneider, Max Letunov,
Adam Huska, and Tage Thompson as former Huskies to make it to the league.
