Matos and Platenikova Named BIG EAST Doubles Team of the Week

STORRS, Conn. – UConn women's tennis doubles team Victoria Matos and Ela Platenikova have been named BIG EAST Doubles Team of the Week after a 2-0 weekend with wins over Stony Brook and Quinnipiac.

Platenikova and Matos went a perfect 2-0 at the No. 1 doubles position, leading the Huskies to a pair of team wins. The duo topped Stony Brooks No. 1 pair, 6-4, before defeating Quinnipiac's No. 1 doubles team, 7-5.
