Bradley Sawka Named All-BIG EAST

STORRS, CT - The BIG EAST announced their post season awards on Wednesday and UConn junior Bradley Sawka (Ellington, CT) was named to the All-BIG EAST second team.

Sawka recently finished tied for sixth overall at the 2026 BIG EAST Championship, shooting a 211 (-5) and finishing all three rounds at or under par. On the season, Sawka had five top-10 finishes over 12 events. He was in the top-20 seven times over the season. Sawka led the Huskies with a 70.7 per round average and had 25 rounds at par or better on the year.

This season, he also notched the first top-finish of his career when he tied for first at the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse, before falling in a playoff. He also had the lowest score of his career when he finished with a 206 at the Ka'anapali Collegiate Invitational in Maui. That tournament also featured his lowest round of the season at 66, tying for the lowest score by a Husky this year.
