Milaw Clause and Olivia McKenna Secure Silver Medal with Team USA

STORRS, Conn. - UConn women's field hockey athletes Olivia McKenna and Milaw Clause and the Junior United States Field hockey team claimed a silver medal in the Junior Pan Am Tournament.
Prior to the championship game, the United States took down Mexico 8-0, Chile 4-0 and Guyana 11-0 finishing atop their group heading into the knockout round. Both McKenna and Clause played roles in the United States victories, with McKenna dishing multiple set piece assists in the U.S 11-0 win of Guyana.
In the knockout round, following a back-and-forth game, the United States advanced to the championship game following a hard fought 2-1 win over Uruguay setting for a showdown vs. the no.2 ranked Argentina.
Despite their best efforts, the United States ultimately fell to Argentina by a final of 3-0 securing a silver medal in the Junior Pan Am tournament.
