Hear from Head Coach Beth Alford-Sullivan:
"Thank you to the Creighton staff and head coach Chris Gannon for building an amazing cross country venue and a great environment for a championship race. A huge shout out to Sascha Letica, a great run from the start for her. She's settled into a great training routine and has made amazing progress throughout the season. She has a bright future ahead of her. Our senior captain, Chloe Trudel continues to have a breakout senior season. She had a tremendous run today, closing the second half strongly. Brooke Strauss continues to run strong for us in her freshman season as well. A tough competition across the board with storied programs. We continued to fight and we are proud to be part of this conference. We're looking forward to competing in two weeks at regionals."
Georgetown won its sixth consecutive BIG EAST title, led by individual champion Melissa Riggins, who crossed the line at 19:47.64.
The Huskies will compete at the NCAA Northeast Regional in two weeks, traveling to New Hampshire on Friday, November 14th.
