Huskies Hit the Road For Matchup against Rhode Island

STORRS, Conn- UConn swimming and diving hits the road as they headto Kingston, Rhode Island for a matchup against the  University of Rhode Island Rams on Saturday November 1. The meet is set to start at noon and will be the Huskies second dual meet of the season.Â
The Huskies are looking to bounce back after a 113-186 loss to Villanova, as they look to regain momentum and get their first win of the young 2025-2026 season.Despite the loss to Villanova, teh Huskies saw strong performances from Sydney Perkins and Jessica Sheng. The Huskies will look to build off the positives from the Villanova meet and secure their first dual meet victory of the season.
Rhode Island is 2-1 on the season and coming off a close loss to Northeastern, where they lost 143-156 in a tight match on October 18th at the Tootell Aquatic Center in Kingston. These two teams faced off last season where the Huskies were victorious, defeating the Rams 155-134 at Wolff-Zackin Natatorium in Storrs.
