The UConn Huskies return to the field off their bye week and head to Boston College to take on their New England rivals Saturday afternoon. Kick-off is slated for 12 noon on ACC Network.
Saturday marks the 17th all-time meeting between UConn and BC. The Eagles hold a 13-1-2 lead in the series with the lone UConn win coming during head coach Jim Mora's first season in 2022, a 13-3 win at home. The Huskies are 0-8 all-time at BC. This the second of three games this season against teams from the ACC. The Huskies lost a tough 27-20 overtime game at Syracuse in week two and are set to host Duke at home on November 8.
The Huskies come in winners of three-straight after taking down FIU last time out, 51-10. The 51 points was the second time this season UConn hit the 50-point mark at home and the third time in the last two seasons. UConn is 3-0 at home this season and are 9-1 at home at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field over the last two years. During that stretch, UConn has outscored opponents 399-162 and is averaging 39.9 ppg on their home turf.
The win over FIU marked the 100th career head coaching victory for Jim Mora. Mora has 22 wins at UConn and 68 NCAA wins over his 10 seasons total. He posted 32 wins in his NFL career as head coach with the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks

The Boston College offense held the ball for 40:44 minutes and ran 83 plays to 43 for the Huskies. The Eagles converted on 10-of-16 on third down and 3-of-4 on fourth down while picking-up 30 first downs. BC's Kye Rboichaux rushed for 112 yards and two scores and quarterback Thomas Castellanos had 80 yards as the Eagles finished with 246 on the ground in the win. Scouting the Eagles... The Boston College Eagles come into this Saturday's game looking to end a five-game losing streak. The Eagles won their season-opener over Fordham but haven't won since including four-straight ACC defeats. The Eagles are coming off a 41-10 loss at home to Clemson last weekend. BC has thrown the ball well this season, ranking 23rd in the nation at 283.8 yards per game behind quarterback Dylan Lonergan who has completed 132 of 197 for 1,394 yards and nine touchdowns. Wideout Lewis Bond has been the top target, hauling in 45 passes for 436 yards but has yet to find the endzone. Defensive back Kp Price is the leading tackler with 51 total tackles, 32 solo to rank 10th in the nation. Fellow defensive back Omar Thornton has 35 tackles on his ledger, including 6.0 for a loss, and has created three turnovers on the season with a pair of forced fumbles and an interception.
UConn vs. the ACC... The Huskies are 8-29 all-time against the ACC. The Huskies match-up with the conference three times this season, losing a tough 27-20 overtime game at Syracuse and games with BC and Duke still to come. UConn snapped a six-game skid against the conference with a win over North Carolina in the 2025 Wasabi Fenway Bowl to cap last season. UConn is 2-2 against Duke, 2-2 against Virginia and 1-3 against Wake Forrest. The Huskies are 1-4 against Boston College since the Eagles joined the league in 2005 and 0-5 vs. Syracuse since the Orange jumped to the ACC in 2013. UConn has also faced Clemson (0-1), Georgia Tech (0-3), North Carolina (1-3) and NC State (0-4). The Huskies were 1-3 against Maryland when the Terrapins were a member of the conference through 2014. The Huskies have also faced Louisville, Miami, Pitt, SMU and Virginia Tech in their history but prior to those teams joining the ACC. The Huskies have never faced Cal, Florida State or Stanford.
