UConn WBB to Face Boston College in Hall of Fame Exhibition

STORRS, Conn. – The reigning national champion UConn women's basketball team will face Boston College in the Hall of Fame Exhibition Game on Monday at 2 p.m. in Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
As part of a split doubleheader, the UConn and Boston College men's teams will face each other at 7 p.m. at Mohegan Sun. Monday's games will air locally on NBC Sports Boston and will stream for free everywhere on UConn+. The games will be broadcast through the UConn Sports Network from Learfield (FOX Sports 97.9).

UConn is 37-14 all-time vs. Boston College. The teams last faced off on Nov. 17, 2005.
The Huskies are coming off the program's record 12th national championship in 2024-25. UConn returns Final Four Most Outstanding Player Azzi Fudd and National Freshman of the Year Sarah Strong to lead the team this season, as well as core members and juniors KK Arnold and Ashlynn Shade.
The 2025-26 season marks the 41st for Hall of Fame head coach Geno Auriemma. In addition to 12 NCAA Championships, Auriemma has lead the Huskies to 24 Final Fours and 61 conference championships.
Redshirt senior Caroline Ducharme has stepped us as a leader for the Huskies. Redshirt junior Ice Brady and Jana El Alfy provide post depth for UConn, while redshirt sophomore Ayanna Patterson will make her first appearance after missing the last two seasons to injury. Sophomores Allie Ziebell and Morgan Cheli will also look to contribute more in their second seasons in Stors.
Monday's exhibition will be fans' first time to see five newcomers in action for UConn. Senior Serah Williams, the 2024 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, joins the Huskies from Wisconsin. Sophomore Kayleigh Heckel transferred to UConn from USC after helping the Trojans to a Big Ten championship. The Huskies have three freshmen on the roster this season: Kelis Fisher, Gandy Malou-Mamel and Blanca Quiñonez.
UConn will have one more exhibition vs. Southern Connecticut on Oct. 26 at PeoplesBank Arena before opening the season vs. Louisville on Nov. 24 in the Armed Forces Classic on Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
