Football Renews Rivalry With Yale For Homecoming

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. - The UConn football team (0-7) renews its rivalry with in-state foe, Yale, on Homecoming Weekend at Pratt and Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field on Saturday, October 16 at 12 p.m. on CBSSN.
Saturday's game will be a in-state rivalry renewed with the Huskies and Bulldogs squaring off for the first time since 1998. The Huskies have won the last four meetings but trail the overall series with Yale, 17-32.
The Huskies had their first 100-yard rusher and 100-yard receiving game against Vanderbilt. Nate Carter recorded his first career 100-yard rushing game with 123 yards on the ground. Keelan Marion followed suit with his first career 100-yard receiving game that featured a career-high four catches and scored one touchdown. Carter followed that up with a career-high 136 yards against UMass on October 16 and has accumulated 259 yards on the ground over the last two games.
Sophomore linebacker Jackson Mitchell still leads the country with 74 total tackles and ranks seventh with 10.2 tackles per game
