No. 4 UConn Hosts Tulsa at Gampel Sunday

STORRS, Conn. - The No. 4 UConn women's basketball team (15-1, 6-0 American) competes in Gampel Pavilion for the first time in 2020 when the Huskies host Tulsa (5-12, 0-4) Sunday at noon. The game will air on SNY/ESPN3 and the UConn IMG Sports Network (97-9 ESPN).
UConn will host its Husky Heritage game vs. Tulsa. The Huskies will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of Gampel Pavilion and will welcome back the 1989-90 team that played when Gampel opened.
UConn is 9-0 all-time vs. Tulsa. All previous meetings have come as members of the American Athletic Conference.
The Huskies notched a 59-52 win over UCF last Thursday. Junior Megan Walker led UConn with 19 points. UConn struggled offensively, but its defense held UCF to just three points in the second quarter. The game was just UConn's second single-digit win over an American Athletic Conference opponent.
UConn has dominated the American Athletic Conference since joining the league ahead of the 2013-14 season. The Huskies have won every conference regular season and tournament title since joining the American. UConn hasn't dropped a game in regular season conference play, and the Huskies own a 108-0 record in American games. Including the postseason, UConn is 126-0 in American games.
The Huskies have won 200 straight games against unranked opponents.
UConn returns to the XL Center Thurday to compete against Tennessee for the first time since 2007 in the Basketball Hall of Fame Revival Series. The game will air on ESPN at 7 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear white for a WHITE OUT in XL. For tickets, click HERE.
